Vanantaan kartano

 

The history of Vanantaka Manor dates back to the 16th century, and the owners are known since 1539. The castle was built in 1900-1901, and the design was influenced by French Baroque. The white annex was built in 1911-1912 in Art Nouveau, and slightly remodeled in 1934. Other outbuildings were mostly built in the beginning of the 20th century. The buildings are surrounded by an old park, which was considerably enlarged in the 1840s.

Vanhankylan kartano

 

Vanhakyla Manor was founded in the 1620s and 1630s, and the owners are known since 1621. The oldest part of the main building dates from the end of the 18th century. It was enlarged, and the construction was completed in the middle of the 19th century. Nowadays, the manor is used as a travel center.

Vanhan Mankkaan kartano

 

The history of Vanha Mankkaa Manor dates back to the 17th century. Nowadays, only few of the original buildings exist. The existing buildings are from the 18th century, and currently they are used as a kindergarten and youth center.

Vastmaen kartano (Wastmaen kartano)

 

The main building of Vastmaki Manor was built in the beginning of the 1920s. It was designed by W. Jung. The garden is planned by P. Olsson in 1920.

Veitakkalan kartano

 

The history of Veitakkala Manor dates back to the beginning of the 15th century, and the owners are known since 1565. It became a manor in the beginning of the 17th century. The present main building was built in the early 19th century, and the current villa-styled appearance dates from 1909.

Velskolan kartano

 

The owners of Velskola Manor are known since 1540. The present main building was built in the 1930s. The manor is currently used by Espoo association of parishes.

Viikin Latokartano

 

Viikki Manor was founded in 1554, and the owners are known since 1629. The present main building was built in 1832 as a summer cottage. It replaced an earlier main building which was built in the 18th century and destroyed by fire in 1830. The current Empire-style appearance is from 1932. Nowadays, the manor is owned by the State, and used as a restaurant.

Viksberg gard (Wiksberg gard)

 

The history of Viksberg Manor dates back to medieval times, and the owners are known since the middle of the 15th century. The manor was originally known as Hevonpaa, but it was renamed to Viksberg in the beginning of the 18th century. The present main building was built in the 1770s in Rococo style. The neoclassical granary was built in the 1820s, and is believed to be designed by Carl Engel.

Virvikin kartano

 

The owners of Virvik Manor are known since 1540, and it became a manor in the 17th century. The present main building dates from the beginning of the 19th century. It was built in the Empire style, and has been remodeled afterwards. Nowadays, it is used as a restaurant in Virvik Golf Center.

Volsin kartano

 

Vols Manor was founded in around 1670, but the owners are known since 1624. The present main building was built in the beginning of the 19th century, and has been enlarged in 1918. The granary dates from the beginning of the 19th century.

Vuorentaan kartano

 

Vuorentaka Manor Castle is believed to be built in the 16th century, and was restored in 1648. The castle was unused for decades in the 18th century, and it was altered to a granary in 1802. The building was reconstructed and enlarged in 1854-1855 to be the main building. The new appearance influenced by Gothic style was designed with the image of the medieval castles.

Vasterbyn kartano

 

Vasterby Manor was founded in around 1600, and the owners are known since that year. The present main building probably dates from the beginning of the 19th century. It was remodeled in the end of the 19th century, and the tower was added during the remodeling.
