Haikon kartano

The history of Haikko Manor is known since the end of the 14th century when it was owned by a monastery. Nowadays, it is one of the most famous spa hotels in Southern Finland.

The present main building was built in 1911-1914, and was designed in 1904 by Armas Lindgren. However, the exterior including pillars was not completed until 1966. It was built on a hill to replace an earlier building which was built in the 1860s and destroyed by fire in 1911.

The manor was opened to the public as the first manor hotel in Finland in 1966. The hotel has a congress center and well-known restaurant, and is a popular place for wedding parties.
