The Juselius Mausoleum was built in 1899-1902, and completed in 1903. It is octagonal in shape, and was designed in the Neo-Gothic style by Josef Stenback. F.A. Juselius had the mausoleum built for his daughter who died when she was only 11 years old. The original frescoes painted by Akseli Gallen-Kallela have been destroyed, but repainted by his son, Jorma Gallen-Kallela.
